Will I fail a drug test if I use your products?

Our creams and massage oils contain only trace levels of delta-9-THC — below the laboratory's limit of detection (less than 0.002 mg per gram). Even when used three times daily over several months, scientific modeling shows that only an extremely small amount could potentially be absorbed by the body — far below the threshold used in standard urine drug tests.

Based on this data, the risk of triggering a positive drug test is extremely low. If you are subject to testing, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

What is  CBD-A?

CBD-A stands for Cannabidiolic acid. It is the pre-cursor of the more commonly known CBD (Cannabidiol), the "neutral" form of the molecule. The acid forms of cannabinoids are what the plant produces. These forms tend to be unstable at high temperatures. It is the same for THC-A (an molecule with anti-inflammatory properties) and THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid). Eating the plant provides access to the acid forms of these molecules, and heating the plant matter as part of the consumption process turns it into the neutral form.

Why is CBD-A used in your products?

Recent studies have shown that CBD-A is stronger than CBD for certain therapeutic applications. For example, studies in animal models showed that CBD-A was 1000x more potent than CBD at targeting receptors crucial for regulating nausea and anxiety than CBD. Another study found CBD-A to be 100 times more potent than CBD in a pain and inflammation through COX-2 inhibition, without targeting COX-1, the receptor associated with gastrointestinal side effects of traditional anti-inflammatory drugs like NSDAIDs. What does horse chestnut oil do?

Derived from the seeds of the Aesculus hippocastanum tree, which is native to southeastern Europe, horse chestnut contains a key active compound called aescin (or escin). Aescin is thought to strengthen capillary walls, reduce capillary leakage, and act as a mild anti-inflammatory agent, particularly in conditions involving swelling, varicose veins, or chronic venous insufficiency. Horse chestnut has been traditionally used to relieve the discomfort of hemorrhoids by reducing swelling and venous congestion in the affected area. Clinical studies have shown that topical preparations containing around 2–5% aescin are effective in reducing leg swelling and improving microcirculation, with 5% that I've included in this recipe often cited as a standard therapeutic concentration in over-the-counter formulations for topical use.
